Areas of Research

Spinal Cord / Nerve Injury & Pain
Activities

My research interests include new therapeutics and optimization of existing therapies in migraine patients, as well as advancements in rarer forms of headache, such as spontaneous intracranial hypotension. I am involved in several clinical trials including an investigator-initiated trial set to begin in 2022, funded by CIHR, to assess the effectiveness and safety of Cannabis use as a migraine preventative.  I am also the PI for a spontaneous intracranial hypotension registry, which we hope to expand provincially and then nationally in the near future. I am also involved in several other clinical trials assessing new therapies in migraine and other headaches.
