Register in the REALISE Program
Eligibility:
Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who are supervised by a full member of the HBI are eligible for formal registration in the REALISE Program. REALISE program members are given priority access to our module offerings and exclusive access to our specialized professional development programs. Undergraduate students enrolled in the University of Calgary's BSc Neuroscience degree program are also eligible to register in the program and participate in most training modules.
Obligations:
By joining REALISE, you are under no obligation to register for any number of modules or take advantage of other REALISE learning opportunities. This is a value-added program and participation is fully customizable according to individual interests and career goals.
Administration:
All program and module registration is managed through the REALISE intranet site, supported by UCalgary IT. This allows us to track and document trainee participation in our program.
Career Encounter and Community Mentorship opportunities are managed separately by the REALISE Program, and information is distributed exclusively to REALISE program registrants.
HBI trainees are encouraged to register for the program at their earliest convenience to be added to our mailing list.
To register for the REALISE program, sign in to the REALISE SharePoint site using your UCalgary IT username and password, and complete the REALISE Program Registration form.
Not an HBI Trainee?
Interested participants from other institutes and departments are also encouraged to register for individual training modules and will be accommodated as space and resources permit. Unfortunately, we cannot offer community mentorship or career encounter opportunities to trainees from outside of the HBI.
