Parker Family Mental Health Fellowship
Objective: A fellowship that will work with the Parker Psychedelic Research Chair at the University of Calgary to lead clinical trials in the domain of psychedelics and other novel mental health interventions. This fellowship has been graciously been funded by a grant from the Jim and Janice Parker Foundation.
Award Value: The award will provided funding for a fellowship with an annual salary of $60,000.00
Duration of Fellowship: 2 years
Eligibility: This is a fellowship open to applicants that have earned their PhD, MD or equivalent degree within the last 3 years of the September 2023 and have training on doing research involving patients. Given the area of research involved, a successful fellow will be involved in patient-facing tasks as part of their research.
Applicant Process: An interested applicant must provide the following:
- The applicant will provide an up-to-date CV
- A personal statement that covers motivation for applying, interests and highlighting relevant experience (1 page max)
- Names of 2 References with contact information.
Applications will be screened based on the most suitable combination of clinical and/or research experience in relation to the goals of the fellowship. The top ranked candidates will be contacted for an interview.
