Join us on Friday September 11, for an inspiring keynote lecture, reconnect with colleagues, welcome new trainees, and celebrate the start of the academic year.
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Tracy Bale, PhD, Professor, The Anschutz Foundation Endowed Chair in Women's Integrated Mental and Physical Health Research at the Ludeman Center, Director, InterGenerational Stress and Health and Dept. of Psychiatry Sex Differences Research University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, as this year's keynote.
She will present her talk "Extracellular vesicles as biomarkers and cellular communicators: key to developmental origins of health & disease" with a Q&A to follow.
Following the lecture, join us in the Atrium for the HBI Welcome Back Reception, an annual gathering to reconnect with colleagues, welcome new trainees, and celebrate the start of the academic year.

Bryan Kolb Lecture Series
Recognized as one of the founders of behavioural neuroscience in Canada as well as one of the most influential neuroscientists in the world, Dr. Bryan Kolb has made enormous contributions to the understanding of brain and behavior. The Bryan Kolb Lecture in Behavioural Neuroscience series began in 2010 to honour our friend and colleague of the HBI.
