New Uses for Old Drugs

Did you know cannabis has been used in the treatment of spasticity in Multiple Sclerosis. Cannabis is also well-known for its benefit as a chronic pain relief. Canada has recently legalized the use of medical cannabis.

Ketamine, MDMA (ecstasy) and psilocybin, commonly known as magic mushrooms, have the potential to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD and addiction. In the United States, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) has granted psilocybin and MDMA ‘breakthrough therapy’ status for depression and PTSD respectively.


We need new treatments, and we need to employ sound scientific principles to this emerging new field, so we best know how to move forward
