Areas of Research
I am participating in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada 2020: Professionalism and accountability redefined: Theorizing anti-racism from stakeholder engagement (PARTAKE) study. We acknowledge the need to address racism in Medicine and to support measures aimed at redressing racial inequities. One potent weapon in the armamentarium is making a change to the medical education curriculum through the redefinition of Professionalism.
My research focus is on the use of qualitative measures studying the epistemology and phenomenology of some of the concerns of our various sociocultural groups.
