Biography

Dr. Mitch is a Director of Hexagon Psychology and Registered Psychologist. His clinical work focuses exclusively on the in-person and virtual psychological assessment of children, youth, and adults across Canadian. Mitch currently practices in 8 out of the 13 Canadian provinces and territories, and partners with provincial governments, research institutions, private corporations, and not-for-profit organizations to increase access to essential mental health services to underserved, rural, and remote communities. When he is not performing psychological assessments or devising treatment plans, Mitch can be found engaging in community-based research initiatives, teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework at institutions across Canada, or supervising the next generation of mental health professionals. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented community-based research initiatives at various local, national, and international conferences.

Mitch is an avid curler and dog-lover, although he dislikes the cold and is often allergic to dogs. He lives in Airdrie with his wife Jennifer, enjoys playing his guitar, and believes that in an alternative reality would have wound-up being a DJ.
