Advanced Care Team for Parkinson’s (ACT for Parkinson’s)

The Advanced Care Team for Parkinson’s (ACT for Parkinson’s) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program dedicated to providing advanced care and support for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. Our research focuses on understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals and their care partners.

Virtual Companionship Program

The Virtual Companionship Program is designed to combat social isolation and provide emotional support to individuals living with Parkinsonism. Through research, we aim to evaluate the impact of virtual companionship on the emotional well-being and overall quality of life for our participants. Patients must be in the ACT program to be in the Virtual Companionship Program.

Finally, we were not going through this alone.

Every member of the team was incredibly generous with their time, their knowledge and their compassion - before, during, and even after my mom’s death. The ACT team enabled us to make sense of a situation that had previously seemed impossible. Their thoughtful, comprehensive approach made an extraordinary difference in our lives. Finally, we were not going through this alone.
