Single Cell Platforms
Single-cell transcriptomics is a powerful technology that allows researchers to measure gene expression at the resolution of individual cells. Unlike traditional bulk RNA sequencing, which averages signals across thousands or millions of cells, single-cell methods capture the unique molecular profile of each cell. This makes it possible to identify rare cell populations, discover new cell types, study cellular heterogeneity, and understand how individual cells change in response to development, environment, or disease.
We provide guidance on generating high-viability single-cell suspensions from CNS (and other tissues) for transcriptomic studies. Our team helps optimize tissue dissociation protocols, ensuring samples are ready for high-quality, reproducible single-cell transcriptomics workflows.
