Transforming the Future of Multiple Sclerosis in Alberta and Beyond

Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects over 90,000 Canadians—one of the highest rates in the world—with Albertans among those most impacted. For people living with MS, this disease can mean unpredictable changes in mobility, vision, and independence.

At the MS Innovation Program, we are driving new hope through discovery, collaboration, and care. Led by Drs. V. Wee Yong and Sarah Morrow, our team is advancing groundbreaking research on brain repair and progressive MS, fostering connections between scientists and clinicians, and empowering people with MS to play an active role in shaping the future of treatment.

Together, with the support of our community, we are turning innovation into impact—right here in Alberta.
