Research and teaching
My research interests are in the epidemiology of workplace mental health problems, interventional research in workplace mental health and stigma reduction research. I am currently leading CIHR funded projects on the topics of workplace environmental factors for mental disorders and workplace mental health accommodations. I am also leading a national evaluation program to assess the effectiveness of contact-based interventions in reducing stigma against mental illness among health professionals; this is supported by the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
