Donald Burns and Louise Berlin Summer Studentships in Dementia Research

 

 

 

This award honours the commitment of the donors to the training of future leaders in dementia research by providing studentships to summer students affiliated with the University of Calgary.

Eligibility: 

Open to students registered full-time in an undergraduate program at the University of Calgary. Offered annually to summer students pursuing dementia research at the University of Calgary under the supervision of a full-time faculty member (professorial track).

Value:

The award is tenable for a minimum of 3 months, and a maximum of 4 months during the period of May to August.
The stipend is $1,500 per month to a maximum of $6,000 per student per year.

Nomination Process: Awards will be adjudicated by a subcommittee of the HBI Education Committee

BSc Neuroscience candidates must apply using the general Summer Studentship application form. Do not submit a separate application.

Non-BSc Neuroscience candidates must submit transcripts, project description and supervisor letter of support to:
